W zasadzie więc nabywca dużego lifttbacka z mocnym silnikiem i napędem 4x4 powinien mieć powody do radości.
The Astra in the US has several tgihns against it, and i dont think that it is that people dont get it. Enough people do get it but not enough are buying Astras. 1 It may have the wrong badge. This car cannot be worse than a Golf/Rabbit, but where as this car relies on its German engineering marketing campaign, a Saturn cannot be German, even though it is; and it must be Middle-America event though it isn't. 2. Saturn has a fixed window sticker price policy with no room for negotiation, which in effect means that a German import (the Golf) can sell for less than a supposedly American (and therefore domestic) car in its same class. 3. Saturn does not project and has never stood for any of the values the Astra offers: modern styling, German engineering, balance, modern and good looking interior, handling and performance... Neither is it plastic, is it? 4. There seems to be very little and/or very poor marketing. 5. Limited options. 6. It was introduced to the American market rather late. Then again so was the Honda Jazz/Fit and it was a success (so Americans do get it). 7. Its styling elements such as its profile and rear lights were copied by the Toyota Corolla Matrix long before the Astra made it to these shores, robbing it of its stylistic impact. 8 Engines and mechanicals are alien to the market which makes people fearful or to question its reliability -- and on top of this you can't sell them aggressively with value added features or rebates or show off about their German engineering... ...Does anyone recall its warrantee? It should compete against the Koreans to inspire confidence; it should have a low price to lure customers in even if they end up buying it for more because of added options, but it's not. Yea I think there's a problem here and it;s not the car.--Iorgeus
I think I've seen maybe one in the flesh. I hadn't heard of it until the guy came out of the woodwork and suegestgd the trade. Then I went on a learning binge, like I do whenever I'm really into a new model of car Speaking of not having heard of cars, I hadn't heard of the Stag.
